Greg Johnson

Greg has helped invest over $1.0 billion into developments and acquisitions over his career. Having worked for a family office, developers, and institutions, he has had the opportunity to see real estate from the viewpoint of multiple stakeholders. He began working with Better Properties during the pandemic to accumulate a rental portfolio and helped to start Better Construction and Better Realty. Prior to that, Greg worked for a prominent land developer managing relationships with industry leading institutional investors and providing financial analysis for new and existing projects. While there, he was the lead for a 250-acre master planned community in Myrtle Beach, SC. Greg also worked for a family office where he executed mergers and acquisitions, structured debt and equity investments, and informed strategic decisions through data analysis. ​He earned his MBA from North Carolina State University and B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut. Having grown up in a small Connecticut beach town, Greg’s favorite hobbies involve spending time with friends and family by the beach or on a boat.

Devin Solow

Devin was raised in Chapel Hill and continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he double majored in Business Administration and Mathematics. Upon graduation, Devin spent nearly a decade in various finance and M&A roles at a family office. Devin began investing in real estate in 2018 with the purchase of the building that ultimately became the home for the Better companies’ Durham office and has since expanded to helping others invest in real estate just as he did. He currently resides in Durham with his wife, 2 cats and dog.

Gabe Gorelick

Gabe is a Charlotte native that was originally licensed in NC in 2014 and began working in commercial real estate brokerage in the Raleigh-Durham market upon graduating from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Gabe later added SC licensure upon moving back home to Charlotte in 2018. Gabe opened up Better Realty’s Charlotte office in the 4th quarter of 2022 and is now serving as one of the Broker-in-Charges of Better Realty, LLC and our Head of Sales and Brokerage. With extensive experience working in both residential and commercial real estate, he operates out of Charlotte and his team services the Charlotte-Metro area, the Triad as well as the Raleigh-Durham markets with a focus on helping single and multi-family investors achieve their Real Estate goals whether they are seasoned investors or looking to start and build their investment portfolios.

Kara Fuller

Kiara Fuller was born in Virginia, however she was raised and currently resides in Durham, NC. Being a resident of the Raleigh-Durham area for majority of her life Kiara has been able to see and experience the best of the triangle area. Kiara has received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Winston-Salem State University.  Because of her experience in the area, Kiara can bring a joyful, professional  and knowledgeable approach to any Real Estate Experience. She has worked in the Real Estate profession for almost 10 years. Having worked in the RTP area as a Foreclosure Specialist as well as customer service related fields, she knows the importance of understanding her client’s needs and delivering professional, trustworthy and prompt service. Kiara enjoys servicing her community through volunteering with Durham Public Schools, Youth Sports, and spending time with her family and friends.

Preston Lavninder

A Durhamite through and through, Preston knows central North Carolina well. Having owned his own gemology business for 15 years, he is now putting his comprehensive understanding of market trends, sales, business development, client relations, and negotiation to work for his commercial real estate clients.

Philip Njapa

Philip Njapa is based in Charlotte, NC and serves as a Real Estate Broker at Better Realty, a subsidiary of Better Properties, LLC. He is originally from New Rochelle, NY, and spent his latter grade school years in Wilmington, NC. Philip graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business with a concentration in Finance from the University of Rochester in Upstate New York. While working as a real estate broker at Better Realty, Philip is also a Capital Markets Analyst for the Agency Commercial Mortgage Backed Security Trading Desk at Bellwether Real Estate Capital, LLC. In his spare time, Philip enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active through Muay Thai, soccer, running, weightlifting, and is an avid Carolina Panthers and Hornets fan. He prides himself for being a fanatic to detail, and thrives in an environment where no two days are the same. As a result oriented person, Philip is ecstatic to serve you and deliver thoroughly on your goals.

Adam Shore

A native of North Carolina, I was born in Greensboro, NC and have been in the Carolina’s my whole life. I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I had a scholarship to play for the Men’s D1 Soccer Team and received my Bachelor’s of Science degree. After graduating, I moved to Raleigh, NC where I have been in Commercial & Residential Construction Sales and Project Management, collaborating with developers and families to create new and unique construction projects. Always having a passion for Real Estate, I moved to the Charlotte area to practice Real Estate full time now, and intend to use my sales and construction background to be the best resource for my clients during one of life’s biggest moments and decisions. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, golfing, boating, hiking, exploring local bars, breweries, new restaurants, and attending live concerts & sporting events. Andrew Gillespie

Raised in Chapel Hill and an alumni of UNC, Andrew knows the Triangle well. Having several years of real estate investing experience focused in the short-term rental space, Andrew obtained his license to help others achieve their goals in real estate – whether that be buying/selling your first home, advising and representing you on short-term rental investments, or helping you build out a full rental portfolio.
